Sustainability is integral to the Center’s mission and performance. The fully electric facility provides 100% outdoor air to support exceptional indoor air quality, while high-efficiency systems and environmental strategies reduce energy costs by 22.9%.
Water conservation measures eliminate the need for permanent irrigation, reducing outdoor water use by 100%, while low-flow fixtures cut indoor water consumption by more than 40%. Responsible material selection and construction practices further minimise environmental impact, contributing to an 18% reduction in embodied carbon.
These integrated strategies helped the project achieve LEED v4 BD+C Gold Certification, demonstrating how high-performance design can support both environmental responsibility and the health and wellbeing of building occupants.
